Thurs 1 Mar: update 1 Mar 7:30 am

Snow and hazardous conditions. We'll work online. I've sent an email.

Three (maybe four) of our number will not make it to campus today owing to weather - including me. So, we'll move on line for the day. It might demand that we work a little on Friday, too, but we can prepare for meeting next Tuesday.

I've been linking the page recasts I found to the PlansAndChanges page.

If you haven't posted yours yet, do so asap please and link it next to your name on that page.

Today or Friday, everyone should visit the pages posted to get a sense of how you've responded to the first pass of the re-writes. It would be really good to critique the pages for how each addresses the specific goals of specific persona - just as a touchstone to see what we're doing.

You could make some notes to discuss on Tuesday, or add comments at the bottoms of the pages. We don't have to think of revisions to the pages so much as use them to refine our approach and how it suits the goals of the personas and the business goals we have for the site: information and advice.

(Right now, it looks life everyone's assuming that the home pages for the programs need to sell the programs to new visitors. It's a little like visiting someone's house and being asked, first thing in the door, if you want to buy a set of encyclopedias! We've been conditioned to go this direction. I'd bet there are other possibilities.)

Let's see what we can do via cmc today and meet on Tuesday Mar 6, after they dig us out.
