Remit
Revise and revamp the content of the English Dept Web site in preparation for BSU web site updates, to update what it offers, and to clarify or redefine the ethos of the site.
This can include
- updating info
- creating new pages
- creating a new page layout
- removing unnecessary pages
- adding facilities (weblog, discussion board...) that can be maintained
- reviewing and adjusting the tone and ethos of the site text
- ...
Make minimal changes in AI, navigation, and visual design. The BSU Web Group is preparing new templates and menu structure, a content management system, and (possibly) css.
Redesign pages, if necessary, to work with the CMS.

- Review the current site for tone and ethos (branding, in market-speak).
- Create content inventory.

User interviews and persona

From personas and review, revise the position and direction of the site.
Revise the site concept, user goals, and purpose statement.
