FM90 is Bemidji State University's very own campus radio station. It is run by students under the guidance of the faculty advisor, Roger Paskvan. Students can either volunteer or apply for a paid position to work at FM90.

The FM90 studio is located in Deputy Hall on the third floor in room ??? Students interested in working at the radio station can either apply there, or e-mail the station manager, Nick Stoltman.

The radio station began in the mid 1960's, by a couple of students. It was an AM station called KDRS, and was broadcast from a dorm room. The students broadcasted news and music throughout campus. The radio station has evolved a lot since then. Then FCC granted them a FM license in 1969, making them the only licensed FM station in Minnesota north of Brainerd. The station aired from the basement in Birch Hall, and stuck to broadcasting campus news and music. With the interest in the radio station, and other media, it has since grown into the FM90 that we know and love today! FM90 is now located at 89.7 on the FM dial and broadcasts at 122 watts, reaching as far as 35 miles out of town. FM90 has also added a new and exciting feature, online web streaming! So, you can now listen to FM90 from anywhere, as long as you're online. You can listen online and learn more about FM90 at their home page. www.fm90.org
