K... this is Aspen talking... I'm thinking we'll have a separate pages with more detailed professor information, book recommendations and writing help/resources. I see this page as an information page for students interested in a B.S. degree. It answers a couple of main questions without sending students away from our site:
Nice and to the point. Links to more info very appropriate. Contact info included. Nice job! --Sharon Aspen, I like the idea of seperate pages, especially since you offer enough information on this page to point prospective students in the right direction without swamping them with needless blurbs and promises. Great work. -- Jeremy Very straight and to the point. Perhaps to the point where it is unfriendly. - Dan I don't know if I agree with everything that everyone said. I kind of lean towards the idea of too many pages seems bad. I think this page is exactly where "Degree requirements" ought to be. Right? That's what I should have done on the MA page. Like a little introductory blurb about what the major is good for and what it entails, and then, "This is what you need to do to graduate" sort of thing. --Eric Your plans for this page sound very good. I wish you the best. I think somewhere on the BSU website it does show the course info, such as classes you need. All the catalogue info is there. But, what is a bachelor of science in English? I have not heard of it. --Molly |
