Representative Users

Our site will be focused on providing information on four fiber arts for the following typical user:

• Female who has a job and/or is a student at University - who may be from early twenties to late 60s
• Crafts in her free time
• Has used internet before to search for crafting information
• Also relies on books, craft stores and friends/family
• Probably intermediate level at her crafts or a beginniner
• Self-taught or had individual (friend) instruction
• Looking for hints, patterns, how-to's, pictures, lists of materials, instructions, etc.
• When stuck she is likely to go somewhere else
• Looks for - site content (nav bar) to see if anything interesting to her
• Has most of the items she needs for whatever craft(s) she is interested in
• Not really interested in reviews
• A typical user really likes projects that are 'leveled' according to difficulty
• At home
• Prints off the patterns... mix of bw and color
• Does not belong to a club/guild
• Crafts for friends, family and self
• Doesn't look for volunteer work/uses
