  • Our bio page effectively communicates our individual experience and expertise
  • One template is used consistently throughout the site. It gives links to all pages. Users can navigate to any page no matter where they are in the site.
  • Images are used effectively to help demonstrate the steps in each process.
  • Format is consistent throughout site.
  • Site displays well on both Firefox and Internet Explorer
  • Email address for all three of us included on each page (using the -nospam-)
  • Our interviews gave us a very good focus on who would be using our site, and what they would be looking for.
  • Site is arranged to meet user's needs:
    • patterns and directions for each fiberarts area
    • equipment lists included
    • links to more information on each craft
    • photos of each step
    • all crafts are labeled easy, intermediate and advanced
  • Home page explains briefly what site is about
    • No scrolling needed, and it loads quickly
    • Navigation is easy to find and consistent
    • Textured background for navigation area to differentiate it from page content area
  • Legible typeface is used throughout site
  • Pages can be enlarged for visually impaired users without losing format
  • Page layouts are similar throughout site
  • Tone is appropriately friendly and helpful throughout site
