2. Have you ever used the internet to find information on your craft?
- LE: YES
- AL: I have looked up info. on certain basic words in sewing and then have looked for a certain way to crochet a design.

- LE: SELF TAUGHT ON CROCHET...THE REST I HAVE HAD INSTRUCTION IN WORKSHOPS OR FRIENDS HAVE TAUGHT ME.
- AL: A friend taught me crochet and my mother taught me how to sew.
- PF: Yes, lots in sewing and crochet. Mostly one-on-one

6. What would you hope to get out of this site?
- LE: PICTURES, PATTERNS, STITCHES (CROCHET & KNITTING), FOR SEWING-COLORS AND TYPES OF FABRIC
- AL: I would like easy instructions with some serious pictures and perhaps even video where I am shown what to do. Also, ease in looking up basic terms in case I don't know what is being talked about.

8. What do you do when you get stuck on a website?
- LE: SHUT DOWN THE COMPUTER.
- AL: Stuck? I would close it and start googling again.
- PF: Ask my daughter
- LG: Go on to another one!
- NR: Try starting from the homepage, but if I can't find what I'm looking for from there, try another site.
- RB: Look for a list of projects, or just try another site.
9. What do you look for first on a craft site?
- LE: OVER ALL CONTENT; PICTURES, CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS FOR PATTERNS, SUGGESTIONS ON YARNS OR FABRICS TO BE USED
- AL: I look for exactly what I am looking for - a certain term and its description. Then, I look to see if there are any other relevant links or pages that I can follow.
- PF: Not finding what I want
- LG: Is it something that I would make or would like to make!
- NR: Example pictures, free patterns
- RB: A list of what the side offers, free patterns and ideas
10. What equipment do you have at your disposal?
- LE: JUST ABOUT ANYTHING I NEED. I'VE BEEN AT THIS A LONG TIME.
- AL: I have lots of crochet needles and lots of yarn - can borrow a sewing machine.
- PF: My sewing machine is a Pfaff 2170, and I have all kinds of crochet hooks, patterns and lots of books.
- LG: Sewing Machine, Serger, Knitting needles, crochet hooks, quilting supplies.
- NR: Sewing machine, iron, crochet needles
- RB: Basic crochet needles, sewing machine, iron, some notions
11. Are you interested in reviews of materials (types/brands of yarn, sewing machines, etc.)?
- LE: YES
- AL: I would like reviews - a lot of the time I will be wondering if it was a good buy - and especially a good review in which terms are explained so I understand fully.
- PF: Not really

- NR: Not really; I usually trust whatever is suggested in the pattern, or what I know
- RB: I will usually just go with whatever is suggested in the pattern
12. Do you like projects rated, such as beginner, intermediate, or advanced?
- LE: YES,AS MUCH FOR THE BEGINNERS OUT THERE AS ME. I HATE TO SEE SOMEONE WHO IS JUST BEGINNING TRY AND DO SOMETHING THAT IS A BIT TOO HARD FOR THEM. I’VE BEEN THERE A FEW TIMES MYSELF.

- NR: Yes; it lets you know what to expect and shows you how complex the pattern is

- LE: HOME...NO TIME AT WORK.
- AL: Home.

14. Do you print things off or work straight from the website? And if you print do you refer (Printable Versions?) Do you print in color or black and white?
- LE: I'M OLD FASHIONED. GIVE ME A PRINTED PATTERN. I REALLY LIKE COLOR PRINTING, BUT I HAVE WORKED OFF BLK/WHT PRINTS MORE THAN I CAN SAY.
- AL: Ive found myself working off the website. Black and white - unless it is a colored pattern that demands color coordination.
- PF: I print in color
- LG: Print off and work from there. Definitely like it printed in color!
- NR: Either/or; I like the printable versions, but whether I print it depends on how complex a pattern it is.
- RB: Printable versions are good. If I'm not printing the pattern out, I'll copy it to Word and save it so that I won't lose it. Usually print in black and white
15. Do you belong to any clubs/organizations/guilds?
- LE: YES, A HANDSPINNERS AND WEAVERS GUILD.

- LE: SOME TIMES I PLAN IT FOR A GIFT BUT MOST OF THE TIME I DO IT FOR THE CHALLENGE AND THE SATISFACTION OF DOING SOMETHING CREATIVE.
- AL: Everyone but myself - I have yet to keep a project for myself.
- PF: Myself, or my kids, or for gifts

17. Do you look for volunteer programs who could use your skills?
- LE: ONE YEAR I CROCHETED HATS FOR CANCER PATIENTS AND WAS VERY HAPPY TO GET RID OF A STASH OF YARNS IN THE PROCESS.
