Facts, more or less accurate, no opinions, patterns, style, arrangement

  • search model, search terms or concept. Candor, Formality, etc. Make visible key elements and interactions. Attenuation of public face. What's rhetorically interesting here? How message works.
  • Ex. attenuation-do they speak like professors and librarians?

Ex. Here's a professor talking to a librarian in a private place, writing so it's throwawayable. Analytical thought: this is more formal writing than saying face to face. Let's ask a question worth answering.

Ethos: credibility, character, honesty, goodwill, audience perception/creative, appeal

Pathos: emotion, atmosphere setting,

Lojos: reason, varieties of different reasoning, uses kinds of evidence, testimonials in facebook
