Female Perspective: "What do you mean by that?" I said. His comment about the girls dress had a hint of compliment in it, but I questioned his interest in the garment's owner. "Look at her, over there in that dress." He beagn. "That looks hot, hon. You would look good in something like that!" The man could barely keep from drooling! When I asked him what he menat, he couldonly stutter and come up with some silly excuse like, "I was only looking at her dress, it stands out." I told him that was a bunch of bull and that if he liked the dress so much why didn't he go and buy it for himself. Male perspective: I was in the mall with my girl the other day and I saw a lady in a cool looking dress. I mentioned to my girlfriend that she might look good in something like that, and she freaked out! i thought she would actually look over at the dress, but she made some snide remark about how I should go put on the dress myself. She totally took it the wrong way. Balcony View: A couple, male and female, were taking a stroll in the mall one day when they encountered a misunderstanding. The male noticed a pretty lady and glanced in her direction. He noticed her dress first, but did appreciate this lady'd beauty once he saw her, like any man or woman would. He thought the dress the lady was wearing would be his girlfriends style and decided to point it out to her. She took this gesture to mean that he thought the lady in the dress was more attractive than her, and got defensive. She accused him of gawking at this lady and told him off. This left them both angry and dissatisfied with one another. |
