Observations

  • common phrases in the wall comments
 how are you?
 How have you been?
I haven't seen you in forever!
 you should call me.
 It's been a long time
 we'll have to get together

  • These suggest that many of the people she communicates with on facebook are people she does not see regularily. Much of the text suggest she has interacted with these people in the recent past, yet is not in direct contact with them. The comments suggest varying levels of intamacy and different social relationships within her group of "friends".

  • By the casual and often crude language used (POOP), it can be inferred that her friends are approoximately the same age as the subject and are comfortable using such language in this online environment. It also suggest that the subject's facbook page is not used in any professional endeavors (sucha as networking with possible employers)
