Description

The first email is just friendly email letting him know that he will get him the information for a book and also the email is a congradualation on his book deal and possible new class at SCSU and he talked a little smack by talking about the possiblity of passing his shiny new office in the future.

The second email is an informational email about wiki. He also extendeded to him an invitation by the founder of wikipedia to contribute his thoughts to volume on theory, politics, future and appilication of wikis for teachers.

Analysis

The second email was a suprise that it was sent because of the content and purpose of the first. According to the email the main purpose for it was to get something to him for his book. So most of the second email was suprise because it really was unecissisary. What is interesting about the second part is the fact that most of it is an informational. The first part was a basic email that was basically to tell him that he was going to get him the information for his book.

Interpretation

These emails are a suprise for the way they where written. The first email is just an email to inform about some in formation about a book. The second one is interesting because it makes you wonder what the author is thinking when he wrote it because it is not your typical response because of all the information it has in it because seems like an email shouldn't sent as response.
