Me: The other day I asked my boss if i could have the opening weekend of deer hunting off. He said no and never gave me a reason. I am a huge deer hunter and the opening weekend is the most important weekend of the year if you ask me. If some one asked me if i could have one day off in the year it would be this one and right now I can't go. I think that it is rediculous that can't have a day that means so much to me off because normaly we are not that busy that particulary day.

My Boss: The other day I got a request from David Schmitz to have November 4th off. I denied the request because a lot of people asked for that day and i feel that if they can't have it then neither should he. I also feel like that day we will very busy and i need david in the deli because we are short handed as it is and can't let him go even though i know that it is a very important day for david because i know it is important to deer hunters.

The Balcony: Why is this day so important to him it is not like an anniversy or a birthday or some family function. How ever what is the big deal with letting him have it off he does have a legitmate reason and it seems to be important to him and i can't see why it would be busy on that particular day but i could be wrong.
